Charles Cousins

Charles was selected for the ARA's World Class Start programme after being tested at his local school and joined Rob Roy Boat Club where he was taught to row by Adrian Cassidy. He raced in the single in the 2008 World Cup series.

Charles' first GB vest was at the 2006 World Juniors where he finished 5th in the pair with Mo Sbihi. In his first U23 year in 2007 he gained GB selection and won a bronze in the double scull with Bill Lucas at the World U23 Championships.

He and Lucas won the double scull at Essen International Regatta 2007 and they raced at the Amsterdam and Lucerne World Cup finishing 10th at the latter.

 Charles is currently studying for a degree in Psychology at Reading University.

Charles is a Rubik's cube enthusiast.
