Colin Scott
Colin started rowing at school in 1999 because he enjoyed the prospect of paddling down the local river.
Colin was bronze in the four at the 2007 World U23s, having finished 6th in the same boat class in 2005.
He has also represented Great Britain in the World Junior Rowing Championships; he raced in the coxless four in 2003, which finished 7th. In 2002, he competed at the Coupe de la Jeunesse, in which he won a gold in the coxed four.
Since then Colin has won two Oxford–Cambridge reserve boat races (Goldie/Isis race), in 2005 and 2007. He also raced in 2004 but lost.
Colin took a year off rowing in 2005–6 but subsequently decided to continue to row competitively.
In 2005 he won the Ladies Plate, a senior eights event at Henley Royal Regatta.
Colin is a member of his College Sporting Society, the Crescents, and has played rugby and judo in his spare time.
