James Morgan
James was selected in the LTA coxed four for the 2008 Paralympic Games and won a bronze medal.
James is an active rower at Deal Rowing Club and former Captain. he has had a long-term interest in international rowing and joined the adaptive squad in 2007 after an assessment of his disability gave him the opportunity to try for Paralympic selection.
James started rowing in 1993 as a junior rower at Deal Rowing Club. In 1997 James won the Senior Fours event at the South Coast Championships - just one highlight of a successful career in coastal rowing before taking up river rowing more recently.
James won his first international competition in the adaptive category in Varese in April 2008 in the LTA4+.
When not training, James works at Pfizer, a pharmaceutical company in Sandwich, Kent, who are very supportive of his Paralympic ambitions.
James lives with his wife and family in Deal.
