Kristina Stiller
Kristina was selected for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games as one of the spares and was brought into the women's eight for the final where the boat finished 5th.
Kristina raced in the single in the 2008 U23 World Championships winning a silver. She also raced in the 2008 World Cup series, finishing 11th in Lucerne. In 2006 and 2007 she represented GB at the World Under 23's, where she raced in the women's quadruple scull, winning silver in 2006 and bronze in 2007.
She is currently taking a degree in Nutrition at the University of Nottingham.
Kristina started rowing at Tees Rowing Club in 2003 but only started competing seriously after moving to St Peter's School. She was influenced by her brother, who also rowed at school.
She has also represented Great Britain at junior level, winning bronze in the junior women's quadruple scull event at the World Junior Rowing Championships in 2005 and she finished 9th in the women's double scull in the same competition.
In 2006 she was a bronze medallist at the British Indoor Rowing Championships at Under 23 level. Kristina is a two time National Schools Regatta gold medallist, in 2004 in the women's single scull and in 2005 in the women's double scull.
