Louisa Reeve

Louisa was selected in the women's pair for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games and finished 6th.  Louisa also competed in the final of the women's eight, replacing an ill team mate, and finished 5th.

Louisa won a bronze medal in the eight at the 2007 World Rowing Championships. She stroked the GB Women's eight to a silver medal at the World Cup Regatta in Linz in June 2007 and continued in the eight for the rest of the World Cup series. She raced in the eight in the 2007 World Cup series, always reaching the A Final and finishing 2nd, 5th and 4th. In the 2008 World Cup series she raced in the eight finishing 5th and in the pair finishing 12th.

Louisa learnt to row at Downe House School but only took it seriously at Durham University where she was coached by Emma and Wade Hall Craggs. In 2006 she won a gold in the double at the World University Rowing Championships.

She has represented GB at the World Rowing Under 23 Championships twice, coming 5th in the four in 2006 and winning a silver in the quad in 2007.
