Natasha Page
Natasha was selected for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games for the women's eight and finished 5th.
Natasha is a former World Under 23 champion who has also represented GB at junior and senior level. She won silver in the eight at the World Cup in Linz in June 2007, placed 5th in the eight at the World Cup in Amsterdam and 4th in the pair at the World Cup in Lucerne. In the 2008 World Cup series she raced in the eight finishing 5th, 6th and 3rd.
In 2003 she won silver in the four at the World Junior Championships in Athens. On the Olympic course Natasha's crew lost the gold by an agonisingly small margin, the closest a GB women's junior crew has ever got to winning gold in the four. However the GB U23 four dominated the field at the championships in Poznan, achieving clear water after the first 500 metres and winning emphatically. Natasha made a great step from junior to senior in 2004, becoming World U23 champion in the four.
In 2005 she was part of the eight that won a bronze medal at the Eton World Cup in May before switching to the four and taking bronze in that event at the World Cup finals in Lucerne in July. She went on to be part of the women's eight that performed so well at the 2005 World Championships in Japan, finishing 5th.
During the 2006 World Cup, she finished 6th with the eight in Munich, then took a bronze in Poznan, finishing off with 4th place in Lucerne.
At the 2006 World Championships at Eton the GB women's eight finished 8th.
She is currently studying at Reading University and has been supported by the Siemens' sponsored World Class Start scheme based there.
Natasha is Lottery Funded through UK Sport.
