Peter Marsland

Peter took up rowing after a sucession of injuries forced him to stop playing rugby and he began looking for an alternative competitive sport.

Peter won his first GB vest in 2007, winning bronze in the men's coxed four.

Peter is a keen sports fan. He worked as an accountant for six months, an experience he claims made him more determined to be a successul sportsman.

He has just completed a degree in economics at Nottingham University, and he plans to go to Cambridge University next year.
