Club Codes

All ARA affiliated clubs are assigned a three letter code that is used in some areas and competitions to help identify them.

All craft being used by clubs on the Thames, and on some other waterways, must carry a three-letter code which is issued by the ARA - together with a three-digit number. This includes racing boats, safety boats and coaching launches. The lettering should be sans serif, at least 6cm high and clearly readable. The codes are shown below.
