Coaching Conferences
The ARA runs a series of coaching conferences throughout each year. These Conferences provide the latest developments and ideas in coaching to all delegates and are a great opportunity to share ideas with fellow delegates. Last year, three conferences were held:
- the British Coaching Conference
- Adaptive Rowing Coaching Conference
- Coach Educators' Conference
Notable recent speakers have included David Tanner OBE talking about the build up to the Beijing Olympics; Richard Chambers discussing his rowing career so far and Mark Edgar describing the latest developments regarding core stability.
Presentations from the 2008 British Coaching Conference are available to all ARA members on RowHow.
