Coach Educators

The ARA is committed to high quality coach education and development. Our aim is to have more competent and active coaches within our sport by 2009. We cannot do this without Coach Educators to support the delivery of our coaching award scheme at a local level to ensure courses are accessible for all.

To support this aim the ARA has become an endorsed centre to run the Certificate in Tutoring Sport (CTS) and Introduction to Assessment Practices in Sport (IAPS) and plans to run three courses a year to strengthen its current Coach Education Team.

The ARA rewards the hard work of Tutors and Assessors by providing Continual Professional Development (CPD)opportunities, payment upon delivery on an hourly basis and additional financial benefits.
