 <title>Make your nomination for BBC Sports &#039;Unsung Hero&#039; award</title>

 <description>&lt;p&gt;
The BBC is inviting nominations for the nation&#039;s Sports Unsung Hero. 
&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&#039;Now in its sixth year, the award is given to a volunteer who has made a difference to their community through sport. 
&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;
Fifteen local winners are chosen by each BBC English region as well as Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland and will be invited to attend the Sports Personality of the Year awards ceremony at the Echo Arena in Liverpool on 14 December.

 <title>Cotswold RC moves to temporary home</title>

On Saturday 3rd May Cotswold Rowing Club members got afloat at their new temporary location, Lake 32 Cotswold Water Park.  This was thanks to the generosity of the Waterland Activity Centre who have agreed to host the club at reasonable cost. The facilities now available to the club include boat storage, beach launching, changing rooms, showers and toilets.

 <title>National rowing event moves to Cotswold Water Park</title>

Sunday 20th April saw the BUSA ( British Universities Sports Association) Rowing Sprints Regatta take place at Keynes Country Park in the Cotswold Water Park for the first time. The event, which attracted over 700 competitors involved more than 20 universities from Plymouth to Manchester.

 <title>Bristol Varsity Boat Race 2008</title>

&#039;Bristol&#039;s two universities will once again be competing head to head at the 14th annual Varsity Boat Race on Saturday 26 April at the Harbourside in Bristol. 
&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;
The Varsity Boat Race draws huge crowds who line the Harbourside to see the best Bristol race crews compete. There is a Marquee by the finish line with a bar and brass band and a VIP area&#039;.

 <title>BUSA Championships Sprints</title>

This Sunday (20th April) the BUSA Championships Sprints will be held at the Keynes Country Park within the Cotswold Water Park.  This is the first time a BUSA Championships have been held in the water park. 
&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;
The event, organised by the WAGS regional rowing council as part of their Great Western Sprints, will see 20 different universities compete on the 4-lane, 500m course.
