Executive Committee

Overview

The Executive Committee is the Board of the ARA and meets regularly to manage the business of the association. The committee consists of the executive officers; Chairman, two deputy chairmen, the honorary treasurer and ten members;

  • Chairman of the National Development Committee
  • Chairman of the National Coaching Committee
  • Chairman of the National Competition Committee
  • Water Safety Adviser
  • Six other members elected by the Council.

The Executive receives reports of all the association's committees, and reviews all agenda items to be submitted to meetings of Council. The group may make recommendations on these reports and must also ensure that proper action is taken on all decisions of Council.

All transactions of the Executive committee are subject to confirmation by the Council.
